As one way of making sure that the students have access to the useful information that will enable them live a healthy life, on 8th May 2021, Maphunziro265 through its Eastern Region Team, held a mentorship session with students from Passion Centre for Children (PCC) in Zomba.
The session tackled three topics from Maphunziro265 mentorship manual namely My passion and Interests, My Goals, and Academic Excellence, the topics that will prepare students and influence them to develop a positive attitude towards the academic journey and help them develop a passion and work towards achieving their goals. Incorporated within these topics were issues on the dangers of sexual relationships at a young age, harms of drug alcohol abuse, and academic excellence as requested by PCC staff.
Facilitation of the interactive session which lasted 2 hours was provided by three (1 male and 2 females) Maphunziro265 Ambassadors that charmed the day with lively discussions and activities.
In attendance were 56 students (23 female, 33 male) and two PCC staff members who invited Maphunziro265 for more sessions with students at Passion Centre for Children.
Maphunziro265 exist in making sure that the youths have access to good quality education and has been involved in couple sessions to assist the students realize their potentials in most parts of Malawi.
